This project aims to strengthen the capacities of the Government of Rwanda (GoR) and climate change-affected communities through a gender-sensitive lens, to manage human mobility in the context of climate change, through a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach. The project supports the implementation of the Kampala Ministerial Declaration on Migration Environment and Climate Change (KDMECC) that was signed by GoR in 2022. The main objective of the project is to strengthen capacities of the GoR to manage human mobility in the context of climate change. The expected outcome is that GoR integrates human mobility in the context of climate change into their policies and strategies.
