Benefiting Member States
Ukraine
The project seeks to support Ukrainian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in combating labour exploitation by building their capacities to promote and adopt ethical recruitment in their business practices. To this end, based on a review of international and national regulations, a comprehensive corporate sustainability assessment tool will be developed, complemented by modules on ethical recruitment and supply chain transparency. Furthermore, SME will be supported in developing ethical recruitment practices, promoting internally displaced persons/migrant entrepreneurship and sustainable and fair production in Ukraine. Project activities include inter alia capacity-building activities on ethical recruitment for local manufacturers; supporting the development of a Business-to-Business platform for SME networking; public presentations to investors and local authorities about women entrepreneurship and SME investment; public campaign on ethical consumption, etc.
