Guinea-Bissau
The project aims at designing sustainable and inclusive livelihood opportunities for communities in Guinea Bissau, through a better understanding of the nexus between natural resources and migration. It will build on the experience of successful environmental civil society organizations (CSOs), supporting advocacy efforts of local community-based organizations platforms in different regions of the country, as well as reintegration projects with a focus on environmental sustainability. Livelihood opportunities related to environmental issues will be identified in targeted communities and capacity-building components on the findings of the research will be conceived for key governmental institutions and CSOs.
