In the face of changing employment modalities, skills requirements and digitalization, it is becoming increasingly important to ensure that cooperation is of equal benefit for all. Therefore, this project aims to support state partners, peers on the international level as well as other stakeholders with much needed global consolidated expertise on skills and migration, as well as formulated policy and capacity development solutions. This project will create a basis for capacity development and interstate cooperation on skills-based migration, establishment and implementation of skills mobility partnerships which may be tackled through follow up interventions. The objective of this project is to contribute to human capital and economic development both in countries of origin and destination through effective cooperation on and governance of skills-based labour mobility.
