Bangladesh
This project has implemented activities, in order to assist in building the capacity of the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment (MEWOE) of Bangladesh. The project will have two components, first, enhancing capacity to manage labour migration and second, building capacity to ensure the welfare of Bangladeshi abroad. Activities will include conducting a study on Bangladeshi expatriates abroad, organising a workshop/seminar to develop a “Plan of Action” and new programs to build the capacity of the Ministry and arranging a study tour to a country that has implemented similar projects.
