Context

Working under the overall direction of the Sr. Resources Management Officer and direct supervision of the National Common Services Officer, the intern will assist with the operational activities of MAC Resource Management - Common Services/Administrative Unit. 

Core Functions / Responsibilities

  1. Assist in providing general administrative support.
  2. Prepare purchase requests and requests for payments.
  3. Receive calls and visitors.
  4. Monitor office and cleaning supplies.
  5. Assist in IOM ID creation.
  6. Prepare and update Common Services-related reports and summaries as deemed necessary.
  7. Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Education

  • University degree in Business administration or any related field from an accredited academic institution.

Experience

  • Experience in office administrative work.
  • Experience in the usage of Microsoft 365 (MS word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, One Drive).

Languages

For this position, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of a second official UN language is desirable.
