Established in 1951, IOM is a Related Organization of the United Nations, and as the leading UN agency in the field of migration, works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. Context
Under the overall supervision of the Chief, Financial Services, indirect supervision of Financial Analyst and PCST National Officer and the direct supervision of the PCST Master Data Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting his/her supervisor in the review and in granting authorization to staff worldwide to access the organization’s ERP system and other existing applications, to provide support in the master data creation and maintenance related to vendor and donor accounts, and to provide inputs to optimize the process and the system.
Core Functions / Responsibilities
1. Access Control
-
In close coordination with his/her immediate supervisor, aids in doing review and provide recommendations on the appropriate roles of SAP users based on assessment of specific functions and responsibilities, mission segregation of duties and compensating controls;

Maintain and update roles of SAP users through the Fiori Applet User Account Management (UAM);

Provide guidance to mission in accessing their staff role assignments using PRISM Access Review Applet;
-
Provides inputs or suggestions in enhancing the existing applets and the process of assigning roles and authorizations.
2. Master Data Creation and Maintenance

Create new vendor records and/or update current vendor master records – Staff Vendors, Air –Ticket and Beneficiary Group Accounts.

Create new donor codes and update existing ones in coordination with project ID and DRD colleagues.
3. Perform other related functions that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Education
-
University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two (2) years of relevant professional experience; or
-
Completed High School Degree from an accredited academic institution, with four (4) years of relevant professional experience.
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
Experience
-
Experience in the field of Accounting, Finance or Information Systems.

Knowledge of accounting systems particularly SAP/Oracle and the generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls.

Computer literacy including proficiency in MS Office applications.
Languages
For this position, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of a second official UN language is desirable.
