Bosnia and Herzegovina
This project aims to contribute to orderly migration management in Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the creation of a ‘Migration and Asylum Strategy 2008-2013’, and an ‘Action Plan’ for its implementation. The strategy will delineate historical trends in migration in BiH and will include an assessment of the current institutional framework, legislation and practices. The role of IOM is to carry out the Action at the request of the BiH Government with a view to assist and advise Government officials who have been charged with the responsibility of drafting the text of BiH’s "Migration & Asylum Strategy and Action Plan 2008-2013" within the framework of the EU/ BiH SAA.
