Benefiting Member States
Chad
In recent years, Chad has invested in migration governance in the context of the rapid evolution and diversification of national migration dynamics. However, despite these efforts, Chad does not have a national migration policy in place.
In light of the above, the objective of the project is to contribute to strengthened national migration governance in Chad, coordinated through a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach, aligned with international standards and including gender considerations.
The project will support the Government of Chad to initiate the development of a gender-sensitive national migration policy (Outcome 1) by strengthening the capacities and knowledge of the members of the Interministerial Technical Committee on migration governance (Output 1.1) and developing and validating a roadmap for the creation of a gender-sensitive national migration policy (Output 1.2)
