This project aims to contribute to the building of migration management capacity of the Government of Uruguay, modernizing, sensitizing and institutionally strengthening the various ministries. Capacity building support will be provided in the following thematic areas: review of existing migration legislation, the design of a counter-trafficking programme and information campaign, support to diaspora networking as well as improving the knowledge base of labour migration to and from Uruguay.
