This project aims to contribute to building the migration management capacity of the Government of Uruguay to deal with international and internal migration issues. The project will focus on three priority areas identified by the government: i) support to diaspora networking; ii) internal migration, including determining the causes and effects at departmental level to plan for a migration policy; and lastly iii) the establishment of a capacity building centre in the National Migration Directorate.
