This project will build the capacity of Bolivian Consulates in Spain with the provision of technical assistance and equipment. Communication channels between the consulates and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Judiciary and the National Electoral Registry will be improved to allow for improved document processing to support the identification and management of Bolivian migrants abroad; consultation processes related to passport issuance, searches on criminal records, and births, deaths and marriages. Furthermore, a survey will be developed as part of this project to better understand the overall status of Bolivian migrants in Spain and their consular needs.
