The objective of the project is to enhance the national migration policy framework and migration management capacities of the GoL and the following outcomes are envisaged: i) the creation of a platform that promotes and facilitates national dialogue and cooperation on migration and ii) capacity building of the GoL to increase skills, knowledge, and experience to effectively manage migration.
The following outputs are planned under this project:
• Create a national Migration Policy Taskforce
• Conduct a desk review and assessment of relevant migration literature, policy and law
• Draft and adopt a national Migration Policy
• Increase capacity of Migration Policy Taskforce members to engage in dialogue and to address migration challenges and opportunities
