Cabo Verde
Six years after the launch of Cabo Verde's first Diaspora Strategy Plan and in the context of the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Cabo Verde is seeking to review its strategy to better engage with its diaspora and level-up the potential of their valuable contributions. The Government is seeking to attract investments and new business creation in innovative and promising sectors. In addition, the Government recognizes the need to include the particularities of each municipality in the updated strategy, whilst ensuring a coordinated approach across the different levels of governance. In this context, the project aims to contribute to sustainable and inclusive diaspora engagement for the development of Cabo Verde.
