The main objective of the regional project is to strengthen CAN’s integration process and the socio-economic development of Member States through the correct implementation of CAN decisions on migration matters. The project will have the participation of IOM offices in the region, CAN, and IOM’s government counterparts. The project will achieve its objective by building the capacities of public institutions in all countries involved, conducting a study to analyze CAN’s integration process and produce recommendations, facilitating a regional meeting to support CAN’s integration process, informing Andean migrants about their specific rights as Andean citizens and conducting an awareness raising campaign in the region to promote Andean citizenship.
