This project will strengthen the recently established national Joint Analysis Center (JAC). In particular, it will support the development of institutional capacities to carry out systematic analysis of information collected by border management agencies, which is a key step to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of BiH’s border control. Additional activities will focus on strengthening management structures within the JAC as well as its three core processes: input, processing and output.
The BiH JAC may serve as a model that could be replicated throughout the Western Balkans, with lessons learned during the implementation of this project potentially benefiting similar projects in the region.
