This project aims to strengthen policies in Peru, regarding internal migration and internal displacement, to provide an effective response to the social, economic and environmental aspects of these phenomena.
The main activities covered include two studies:
• Internal migration in Peru and its economic impact,
• Causes, dynamics and effects of internal displacement in Peru
Both research studies also use gender indicators.
A series of training workshops for officials of relevant public institutions will also be carried out to enhance the capacity of government officials in dealing with internal migration and displacement.
