This project will contribute to the strengthening of migration management in Namibia. The overall objective is to support the Government of Namibia (GoN) in developing a comprehensive and coordinated approach to migration management based on well identified needs and priorities. This will be achieved through three main interventions.
Firstly, the project will provide support to the GoN in the development of a comprehensive national migration policy. Secondly, the GoN will be supported in the establishment of a National Committee on Migration Management (NCMM) which will provide a multi-stakeholder platform to coordinate all matters related to migration management. Thirdly, the project will contribute to the development of a roadmap for the implementation of the national migration policy.
