The objective of this project is to contribute to the strengthening of the government's national and local capacity to ensure the successful return of Colombians, by strengthening the capacity of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) offices at the local level, as well as the operation of the Migrant Assistance Networks and the services they offer to returnees. To contribute to this objective, the actions to be implemented within this project will focus on the design and implementation of a communication strategy for the dissemination of the Law 1565 of 2012 on returnees; the provision of capacity-building and tools to the Referral and Opportunity Centers for Return (CRORE) and Migrant Assistance Offices at the local level; and the development and implementation of an online course on the Law 1565 and its benefits to returnees for MFA staff and local staff.
