The project aims to strengthen the capacity of the government to generate accurate data that policy makers can use in order to develop inclusive and evidence-based policies to ensure good migration governance. The project will deliver the three following outputs; a migration governance assessment, which will aim to provide the government with information on the current gaps that need to be addressed in order to improve migration governance; the optimization of the current government's migration information system, to improve the collection, analysis and promote gender mainstreaming, and; the delivery of capacity-building workshops targeting public officers on the collection, processing and utilization of migration-related data in order to improve the capacity of the government to develop evidence-based policies.
