The project contributes toward the implementation of the “National Strategic Plan against Trafficking in Persons” and the “National Strategy for Integral Attention to Victims in Nicaragua”. The aim is to increase the early detection of possible cases of trafficking in persons and the reference routes for the protection to the victim, throughout the use of the authorized emergency lines, which allows the management of knowledge, strengthening of the mechanisms, tools for the prevention and attention of cases, actions for the awareness and prevention of this crime. Actions are focused on gender and generational dimension, the vulnerabilities of populations with non-binary gender identities and people of diverse sexual orientation (LGTBI). The proposal is based on the promotion of human rights and human development. The approach of communication for development will be promoted through actions in the communities that generate real change and perceptions in people regarding risk factors, conditions and vulnerabilities that favor human trafficking, strengthening the capacities of people in the community and proper identification of this crime and publicizing the availability of emergency lines.
