Specifically, the project will:
1. Carry out research on 500 households in Benin with the aim of understanding the use of remittances and ways remittances can improve the life of the beneficiaries.
2. Capacity building of researchers, institutions and decision makers in the government for further policy development in the area of remittances and specifically the integration of remittances in strategies for Growth and Poverty Reduction Strategies.
3. Disseminate results and an information campaign through a website and Internet forum in order to inform migrants and facilitate communication between migrants.
