Argentina
In the framework of the technical cooperation offered by IOM to the Government of Argentina, this project aims to offer tools that will strengthen the institutional capacities of the National Direction of Population, within the Interior Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, in order to promote the design and implementation of efficient and effective public policies in matters related to population and migration.
In this regard, the project will have four components: 1) technical support and advice; 2) training; 3) development of technical documents on population and migration issues; and 4) provision of technical applications. Once the project has been implemented, it is foreseen that the Direction itself will be better able to respond to the growing challenges presented by migration and population issues in Argentina.
