This project seeks to contribute to strengthen the capacity of the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES) in Ecuador to promote technical tools and innovative strategies that support micro-entrepreneurship initiatives and training for people on the move and in vulnerable situations. This initiative aims to achieve the government officials use of updated information, new tools and skills to develop inclusive programming on micro entrepreneurship targeted at people on the move and others in vulnerable situations. Additionally, the project will help the government promote a virtual course and support the implementation of a pilot programme in three cities to support the socioeconomic integration of people on the move and in vulnerable situations.
