The project aims to enhance governmental capacity to more effectively manage migration by preparing country ‘Migration Profiles’ for selected South American Member States. Migration Profiles are intended to promote greater policy coherence and more comprehensive approaches to migration planning at the country level, address irregular migration pressures, promote more regional cooperation in regards to the free movement of persons, and strengthen migration and development planning in national development strategies.
