Benefiting Member States
Madagascar
Madagascar is a country of origin and destination and faces also important internal movements. However the main challenge that the Government faces today is the lack of migration data, which is preventing Madagascar from adequately optimizing the benefits of migration of the social and economic development of the country. The main objective of the national migration profile is to strengthen the capacity of governmental entities in order to promote a coherent policy on migration and development in Madagascar.
