This one-day working session, sponsored by IOM, allowed representatives from several countries from the region to discuss and further develop specific programme plans with representatives of IOM. While not part of the International Migration Policy Programme (IMP) Conference, the working session built on the discussions from that conference and from programme planning previously under way with IOM to identify and detail specific areas of cooperative project activity.
