This project will assist the Ministry to institutionalize its strategies together with other local and national public and private entities in order to support Colombian migrants overseas that wish to return to Colombia.
The project’s three main components include:
1.Training for government officials in charge of designing, promoting and managing return programs.
2.Development of a communication and dissemination plan for the ‘Positive Return Plan’ for diplomatic missions, consulates, NGOs, associations of Colombian citizens and workshops to be held in regions with the highest rate of emigration.
3.Development of the ‘Unique Registry System’ which will allow users to access migration data for national reports and permit periodic evaluations on the progress of the ‘Positive Return Plan’.
