The project will include two components:
a. Training in business and small enterprise development for the Ngäbe y Buglé ethnic population.
b. Training of returning Costa Rican nationals and family members of Costa Rican migrants who live abroad (emphasis on female heads of household) in livelihood options.
The university (Universidad Estatal a Distancia – UNED) will co-finance this project to the sum of USD 200,860 and will provide staff resources (a local coordinator) in the project region.
