This project will provide co-funding to the ongoing regional project ‘Central Asian Labour Migration Project (CALM)’, covering its regional component activities with a focus on the improvement of labour migration data and statistics, the improvement of the regional legal framework and capacity building for the governments. CALM is a two-year project with a comprehensive approach towards labour migration in Central Asia and Russia. It comprises activities aimed at improving the collection of labour migration data and statistics, promoting and developing of national labour migration strategies, strengthening national legislation and the related regional legal framework for labour migration, contributing to institutional capacity to effectively manage labour migration as well as informing and assisting labour migrants.
