This pilot project will select 10 municipalities experiencing high returns in rural Imereti, Kakheti and in urban Tbilisi to pilot a three-fold strategy aiming to contribute to sustainable reintegration of all returning migrants and whole-of-community revitalization. The project will mainly aim to support local inhabitants in accessing services in the economic, social and psychosocial dimensions, to ensure that returnees in pilot municipalities achieve improved levels of sustainable reintegration, to engage pilot communities in revitalization initiatives and generate new opportunities for sustainable livelihoods and to support national stakeholders in validating a new approach to community reintegration and revitalization.
