The proposed project includes activities to be considered as co-funding support for the EU funded project “National Strategy on Migration: Development of a Migration Management System in Albania”. The National Strategy on Migration project addresses the urgent need for reform in the field of migration management in Albania. The registration of Albanian emigrants has been recognized by the Government of Albania as a tool to manage migration.
The feasibility study will identify and programme the establishment of the required (communication) network and infrastructure prior to the actual implementation. After assessment of the current situation, identification of the exact purpose of the register, and a cost and risk analysis, the feasibility study will provide the Government of Albania with a report including three options for the architecture of the system and plan for its creation.
