This project aims at providing sustainable, long-term study and training opportunities to professional staff of the State Border Service (SBS) through assistance in initiating the establishment of the Border Guards Training School (BGTS). This fits within the context of the SBS current restructuring from a military to a law enforcement entity, which requires professional educated staff, and whose recruitment needs over the next 8-10 years are estimated by the SBS at over 5,000 staff.
