The objective of this project is to support governments to contribute to the empowerment of the South American diaspora as actors in the sustainable development of the region, especially in the context of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The project will facilitate the sharing of existing lessons learned and good practices in relation to diaspora engagement between the governments and other actors in the participating countries in an effort to ensure members of the South American diaspora actively engage in opportunities to contribute to the well-being of communities in the region.
