This project will facilitate the COMESA-RCP Migration Dialogue which is intended to launch the COMESA-RCP. The project will develop a Strategy Paper to inform the discussions at the meeting and introduce the RCP concept.
At the meeting the High level Dialogue on International Migration expected outcomes will be discussed. An action plan will also be prepared to enhance the monitoring of progress towards the implementation of decisions of the COMESA Ministers Responsible for Immigration.
To ensure continuity of the RCP, a draft Operating Modalities document will be developed and reviewed and endorsed at the first meeting. These operating modalities will address how the COMESA-RCP will function and provide overall guidelines as to how to structure this dialogue process and related activities.
