The proposed project includes a number of activities to be considered as co-funding support for the EU Tacis-funded project “Enhancing Border Management in the Republic of Moldova”.
The proposed activities aim to strengthen border management capacities of the Department of Border Guards (BG) and personnel, responsible for and involved in migration and border management, by enhancing professional capacities and physical facilities of the border service. To achieve this aim, the eight inter-related activities will include: border surveillance training, border control training, senior management training on transition from military to civil service of border guard troops department, communication training, computer literacy & English language training, IT network administration training, study tours, Training Centre for Border Guards.
