Benefiting Member States
Viet Nam
This 6-month project intends to consolidate Viet Nam’s migration management capacity by enhancing the knowledge of migration legislation of government officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other concerned agencies. Training on migration policy development and management with a focus on international migration practices and citizen protection will be a major component of the project as well as the establishment of a migration library and a study tour for government officials.
The results of the project will increase and consolidate Viet Nam’s migration management capabilities to prevent and combat trans-border crime. They will also contribute to the regional and sub-regional cooperative efforts in consolidating security and the ability to combat and prevent migration-related crimes in South East Asia.
