This project aims to start-up the implementation of a Capacity Building in Migration Management Programme (CBMMP) for Mongolia. The project will significantly enhance the capacity of the Government of Mongolia (GoM) to efficiently manage migration flows in a manner consistent with national priorities and international norms. Towards this end, IOM shall: (a) carry out technical assessments and research activities to map current policy, operational and technical and managerial capacities to manage international borders; and (b) carry out a technical review and research with a focus on migrant reception and return policy, law and operations, and (d) conduct an EMM pilot training.
