This six month project aims to provide a complete overview of the migration management infrastructure in place in Côte d’Ivoire which will assist the government in developing a national migration policy.
An independent evaluation will be carried out on migration and border management structures, providing an overview of the political, legislative, administrative and operational management framework. The team will develop an assessment report with recommendations aimed at strengthening Côte d’Ivoire’s capacities in migration management. The findings of this report will be presented to the Ivorian authorities at a National Restitution Conference. In addition, a group of key migration management officers on migration will be trained on current migration, border and security issues.
