Burkina Faso
This five month project aims to gain a complete overview of the migration management infrastructure in place in Burkina Faso, identify Burkina Faso’s capacity building needs in migration and border management, and raise the awareness among a pilot group of key migration management officers through training on the “Essentials of Migration Practice” and the prevention of document fraud. A specialist team will carry out the assessment following the standard border and migration management assessment framework, which focuses on the evaluation of the administrative, regulatory, operational and information management frameworks. The team will develop an assessment report putting forward recommendations aimed at strengthening Burkina’s capacities in migration management.
