Benefiting Member States
Chile
This project includes research on the factors which facilitate or hinder the integration and development of migrants in the labour market, from the perspective of employers and employees. The research will be carried out in the Metropolitan Area of Chile and will include structured interviews with migrants and unstructured interviews with migrant employers.
The aim of this project is to provide concrete findings to the relevant Stakeholders (Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Labour) that will in turn help with the development of a migration policy for Chile that will meet the challenges of economic growth while respecting the welfare and human rights of workers.
