UK Panel to Discuss Migration Trends, Importance of Dialogue and Communication in Migration Management
United Kingdom - IOM and the Migrants Rights Network (MRN) will organize a panel discussion on the theme of the latest IOM World Migration Report at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London on Tuesday, October 9th, 2012, at 7:30pm.
The public event: “Shaping the Future: Communicating Different Perspectives on Global Migration” will bring together leading migration analysts and advocates to discuss migration trends and the importance of dialogue and communication in migration management.
IOM Deputy Director General Laura Thompson will be the keynote speaker and panellists will include Prof. Ronald Skeldon of the University of Sussex, Prof. John Campbell of SOAS, Don Flynn, Director of the Migrant’s Rights Network UK, and Sylvie Aboa-Bradewell of African People’s Advocacy.
