Tunisia, Council of Europe, IOM Host Counter Trafficking Conference
Tunisia - Tunisia’s Ministry of Justice, the Council of Europe and IOM will today (15/4) open a two-day international conference on “The Fight against Human Trafficking: A Multiple Response to a Multi-faceted Challenge”. The event will take place through April 16th at the Golden Tulip, El Mechtel Hotel in Tunis.
Participants will discuss the human trafficking in Tunisia, the Mahgreb and the Western Mediterranean and international measures to combat the problem, including the Council of Europe’s Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings. They will also share practical experiences and best practices.
