IOM Statement on Nice attack
International Organization for Migration shares the world’s shock at the appalling attack in Nice Thursday evening.
IOM strongly condemns such heinous acts of violence in any shape or form. The incident in Nice on the National Day of France is cowardly and disgusting. We hold the principle that every human life is sacred and inviolable.
“We denounce this heinous and cowardly act in the strongest terms,” said IOM Director General William Lacy Swing in Geneva. “IOM is deeply saddened with the loss of life and sympathizes with the families and friends of the victims.”
