IOM Slovenia, Association Odnos Hold Stakeholder Meeting on Labour Market Integration
Slovenia – IOM Slovenia and Association Odnos have held a stakeholder meeting focusing on labour market integration on 13 October 2016 at the National Museum of Slovenia in Ljubljana. The aim of the meeting was to present and review existing initiatives and/or initiatives in progress (with an emphasis on the labour integration of persons with international protection), and to identify key challenges in this area. The meeting also focused on setting up the objectives for further work in the area of labour integration, with a focus on early labour market integration and skills recognition.
The stakeholder meeting was part of the regional project Skills2work, which promotes early and sustainable employment of refugees through improved support on skill validation in asylum procedures and integration service provision, including non-formal and in-formal learning, and strengthened employer involvement from the private sector. The project is co-funded by the European Commission.
