IOM Launches Online Bookstore
IOM today launches an online bookstore that will make buying books,
studies and reports faster and easier.
"Customers can now use their credit card to securely and
conveniently pay for their orders," says Valerie Hagger, IOM's
Publications Coordinator.
IOM accepts credit card payments in two major currencies (Euros
and US Dollars) and allows customers to choose from two shipping
options: regular mail or courier service. Delivery of purchases is
within three to 14 days, depending on the method of shipping
selected.
To keep costs low and shorten delivery time, IOM ships orders
from its three regional publication hubs:
- Manila (Asia Pacific)
- Geneva (Europe and Africa)
- Washington, DC (Americas and the Caribbean)
The bookstore stocks over 450 titles in English, Spanish and
French, including the flagship World Migration Reports and the
popular Migration Research Series, Migration Profiles, and the
International Dialogue on Migration.
Customers from developing and least developed countries enjoy
significant discounts on all of their orders. A country
rebate of up to 75 per cent is automatically applied in the
check-out and payment process.
Apart from sales of publications, the online bookstore also
offers a number of free publications that can be instantly
downloaded.
The online bookstore is available in the Organization's three
official languages: English, French and Spanish.
