IOM Assisted Migrant Convoy Departure
IOM is assisting the Chadian government with logistical support of moving 1,200 stranded migrants from Sebha in southern Libya, to N’Djamena in Chad. The route will pass through Niger and then enter Chad, passing through Zourke and continuing to Faya and then N’Djamena. They will pass through IOM way stations and transit centres in Zourke and Faya. Food items and non-food items will be provided, as well as transportation to final destination within Chad or to respective countries of origin.
