91st Special Session of the IOM Council
The 91st special session of the IOM
governing body will open on Thursday, 8 June at the Palais des
Nations in Geneva.
During the session, the application of two new
Member States will be considered – the Republic of Mauritius
and the Kingdom of Spain. This will bring the number of Member
States to 118.
The Center for Migration Studies of New York
(CMS), the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the Hassan II
Foundation for Moroccans Residing Abroad will apply for observer
status.
