An estimated 36.1 million people are severely affected by drought in Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia where communities face extreme levels of food insecurity, starvation and disease following four consecutive failed rainy seasons.

The risk of famine is more real every day.

Nearly half the population of Somalia are facing historic levels of drought; over 1 million people, mostly women and children, are displaced and millions more are on the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe.

These movements create new humanitarian needs and place pressure on the already scarce resources vital for migrants, displaced persons and host communities.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is one of the biggest humanitarian organizations in Somalia. Since 2006, we have provided life-saving assistance to migrants, displaced and vulnerable communities impacted by conflict and climatic shocks.

Our interventions have supported millions of people all across the country.

SOMALIA NEEDS YOUR HELP
